Aside from the sounds of heavy artillery fire and the constant talk of attack drones, Gaza people also deal with heartbreaking stories of missing rescuers who disappeared seven days ago.
Paramedics went to the neighborhood of Tar Assault in South Rafa, Gaza, to save Palestinians who were injured during the Israeli bombing and ground attacks.
People who were able to report the executions of many people by the Israeli army. In cooperation with the United Nations over the past few days, the Palestinian Red Crescent Association has managed to approach the area where ambulances have disappeared.
What they found was the remains of vehicles buried under mountains of sand. Testimony from those who happened to be there said rescuers were executed and buried by Israeli forces. There are no signs they are still alive.
The Israeli Army has not deliberately hindered coordination between international organizations to properly search for 14 civil defense and red crescent workers.
On Saturday, Israeli forces confirmed that the troops fired fire on an ambulance in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas spokesman Bassom Naim has accused Israel of carrying out a “intentional and brutal massacre” against the Palestinian Red Crescent and civil defense teams in Rafa city in southern Gaza.
“The targeted killing of rescue personnel protected under international humanitarian law constitutes a serious violation of Geneva’s practices and war crimes,” Naim said.
“National nations of the world cannot allow this crime against this humanity to continue.”
The Council on Islamic Relations in America (CAIR) welcomes comments by the United Nations describing Israel’s military action in Gaza as “atrocity.”
Kea also called for a UN investigation into reported enforcement of Palestinian ambulance crews and civil defense rescue teams in Rafa’s Tar Az Sultan area.
“The fact that the Israeli government is committing atrocities in Gaza is probably an understatement of the century. The fears seen since the launch of the campaign for the massive Israeli massacre in Gaza stated in a statement:
“The US and the nations of the world cannot allow this crime against humanity to continue. The Israeli government must be prevented from further atrocities and be held responsible for immunity and war crimes committed.”
