TEHRAN – Senior Iranian military adviser says as many as 16 Israeli pilots were killed in an Iranian missile attack on Israel amid the Tel Aviv regime’s military invasion of Iran.
On June 13, Israel launched a blatant, unprovoked attack on Iran, triggering a 12-day war that killed at least 1,064 people across the country, including military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary people.
The United States also took part in the war by bombing three nuclear sites in Iran with a serious violation of international law.
On June 24, Iran managed to stop the terrorist invasion through successful retaliation operations against both the Israeli regime and the United States.
“Over 500 missiles have been fired in occupied territory during the war,” said Major General Rahim Safavi, senior military adviser to the leadership of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei. “The attacks have caused significant damage to Israeli facilities in Haifa and other regions,” Top General said, adding that “refineries, power plants and regime research centres have also been targeted. At least 16 Israeli pilots have been killed.”
He said Tel Aviv had a news blackout to the true extent of the losses he suffered during the conflict. “The occupation regime prevents the disclosure of details of the damage and casualties caused during the 12-day war,” the Commander-in-Chief explained.
“Some of the missiles had such a strong effect that they acted like an earthquake, and the destruction affected areas within a radius of three kilometers,” the Supreme General said.
“We were fooled and surprised at the beginning of this conflict. This suggests the weakness of the realm of strategic intelligence and we need to seriously improve this territory,” General Safavi said.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Iranian military’s general staff emphasized that the Iranian military is ready for future conflicts.
“We have exceptional preparations for possible future conflicts,” said Major General Abrahim Musavi after inspecting the Iranian navy in the south.
He added that the country’s navy is ready to accomplish the mission assigned to them, “On a daily basis, they rehearse and update all defensive and offensive plans to counter the enemy.”
