The historic monument of Tehran -17 has been added to the list of valuable historical and cultural monuments in Mazandaran.
Hossein Izadi added that it includes the municipal buildings and baths in Amor, the study gardens and Armenian cemetery in Ramsar, the mosque in Arasht, the cinema in Sabadok, the cannery in Kaem Shahl and the local palace in Noor.
Izadi explained that the aforementioned monuments are under the protection and supervision of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts, and are deemed a crime pursuant to Articles 558-569 of the Islamic Penal Code and Articles 558-569 of the Islamic Penal Code and the penalty of the Criminal Criminal Code.
He said that restoration and reconstruction of the monument is possible with approval and oversight of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, adding that the registration of the historical monument will be done to identify, document and protect the country’s cultural heritage.
The process will lead to the maintenance of national identity, transferring culture to future generations and attracting tourists, adding that registered monuments will be protected from destruction or coordinated change and will gain legal significance.
