The Israeli attacks targeted various regions across the Gaza Strip from north to south, including Jabaria, Beit Hanoon, Gaza City, Nuseirat, Deia El Bara, Khan Yunis and Rafa. Areas designated as safe humanitarian belts, including the Almawasi region, were also attacked.
In West Gaza, a group of civilians, including women with special needs, were attacked in front of Al Lantisi Children’s Hospital.
Additionally, families whose two schools were evacuated, the Altabin School in Gaza, and the Dar Alpha Dilas School in the northwest of Rafa were bombed. At least 25 people have died.
Khoudary behind Al Jazeera, reporting from Deir El-Balah, said the people of Gaza remained “terrifying, helpless and devastated” after the attack amid cuts in Israeli aid and power.
“People are hungry. They don’t use food. “All this is happening and the Palestinians are awakened to a massive series of attacks in various parts of Gaza.”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Gaza’s updated bombing was “only the beginning” and that Israel would advance until it achieved all war objectives, destroy Hamas and release all prisoners of war.
