According to Syrian TV, nine people were killed in an Israeli attack on the town of Beit Zin on the outskirts of Damascus.
A reporter from Syria’s al-Akhbariya news channel reported that Israeli soldiers entered the town of Beit Zin, on the outskirts of Damascus, and the surrounding area came under Israeli shelling.
Syrian media cited attacks on villages by Israeli military helicopters and clashes between residents and Israeli soldiers.
Syrian TV reported that nine people were killed and several others injured as a result of Israeli-occupied attacks on the area. Due to continued Israeli attacks, residents were leaving the town for neighboring areas.
The report said many people remained under the rubble after the airstrike.
According to the report, after carrying out the first operation, the occupation forces withdrew from the town of Beit Jen and settled in the Bat al-Warda hills on the outskirts of the region.
Occupation forces arrested the three men before leaving the town.
Israeli military helicopters also targeted the area after Israeli soldiers fled.
