President Masudo Pezeshkian and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan exchanged opinions on the latest developments in the Caucasus region, including an agreement between Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Iran has always welcomed the establishment of regional peace, convergence and stability, while maintaining the integrity of the country’s territorial abilities.
The President also mentioned the good-development relationship between Iran’s Islamic Republic and Armenia, highlighting the need for special decisions and attention from senior officials of both countries to accelerate the implementation of bilateral agreements in various fields.
Armenia is striving to continue negotiations and consultations to implement the agreement and organize regional relations, and hopes to witness the signing and implementation of the agreement in the near future, the Prime Minister of Armenia said of his side.
Armenian Prime Minister also expressed his gratitude to the Iranian president for creating development and dynamism in bilateral relations in a new era, highlighting her country’s interest and determination to implement an agreement reached between the two countries.
