Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Monday that preparations for the speech were ongoing.
The Kremlin noted that first and foremost, the talk points on all pressing issues regarding Ukraine’s settlement will be prepared for conversation. Trump previously told reporters he had planned to focus on territorial and infrastructure issues in the context of the Ukrainian conflict, Tass reported.
The conversation between the heads of state will be held on the anniversary of his unification between Crimea and Russia. On March 18, 2014, the Russian President and leaders of Crimea and Sebastopol signed a treaty officially enrolment into Russia.
Previous telephone conversations between Putin and Trump took place on February 12th. For an hour and a half, they discussed the issues of Ukraine and the issues that had accumulated in relations between the two provinces. The Russian and US presidents later agreed to continue contact information, including in-person organisations.
