Israeli forces’ attacks on Lebanon continued early on Friday morning, with three people dead after drones bombing an apartment in the Lebanese port city of Sidon, Al Jazeera reported.
According to Al Jazeera, Lebanese news outlet Al Mayaden reported that Hamas official Hassan Farhat was one of the people who had been martyred in the attack.
Israeli forces also attacked in the Nakoura and Nabatier regions of southern Lebanon on Thursday night and early on Friday morning, Al Mayaden reported.
Meanwhile, citing sources affiliated with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, the new Arab or Al-Arabi Al Jade announced that Hassan Farhat (Abu Yassar) and his two children had marched during the Israeli attack on Sidon.
This is the second terrorist attack on Sidon since the ceasefire between Lebanon and the Israeli regime. Previously, Israel had targeted Mohammed Shaheen, commander of the Kassam Brigade, with a drone attached to the entrance to Sidon on February 17, 2025.
Since last November, the Israeli regime has violated ceasefires more than 2,000 times, attacking southern Lebanon, Bekaa and the outskirts of Beirut.
