China’s Customs released trade statistics with Iran, saying that Iran has imported 2,250 kilograms of money from China in the past two months since the beginning of this year.
The volume of trade exchange between Iran and China reached $221.4 billion in the first two months of 2025, a 23% decline compared to the same period in 2024.
Exports to Iran to China also fell 28% to $1.474 billion, down 2018.052 billion from last year’s $2.052 billion. Furthermore, China’s imports from Iran fell 11% to $740 million, down from $832 million in the first two months of 2024.
Iran imported 2,250 kigs of raw gold kig from China, worth $2 million during this period, but no such imports took place last year.
According to the latest update, Chinese people store 3,100 tonnes of gold, making them the fourth largest country in the world in terms of gold reserves.
