Amid the ongoing trade war between the US and China, Beijing fought back with Donald Trump’s 104% tariff and an 84% extra charge on American goods.
Donald Trump attacked China on Tuesday. It struck tariffs with 104% tariffs amid the ongoing trade war.
China’s Treasury Ministry said these additional tariffs would be imposed on goods from the US from April 10, news agency Reuters reported. Beijing’s tariff rate on American goods rose from the previously announced 34%.
China’s Commerce Department has also announced that it has added 12 US entities to its export control list, while including six American entities in its “unreliable entities” list.

It is reportedly also that US stock index futures had a sharp dive shortly after the announcement.
That’s just one day after Trump imposed a 104% tariff on China, the White House spokesperson secretary said additional tariffs will be collected starting Wednesday, April 9th.
