Vice Admiral Shalam Irani described the Iranian navy strength and defensive capabilities as stronger than ever in meeting with the families of Bandar Abbas’ 86th Navy Fleet.
“Today, the enemy sees the Islamic Republic’s military and the strategic navy of the Army as superpowers,” Irani said.
He added, “The devil seeks direct conflict at the sea, but with the help of God, we will defeat it and own it like the Pharaoh people.”
Irani believes that the success of the mission of the 86th Navy Group is due to the combination of expertise and the perseverance of military families.
He emphasized that “families play an important role in boosting the morale of my comrades in the long-term international mission by enduring their absence.”
The navy chief said the international community now views the Army’s strategic navy on par with the superpower.
“My comrades’ efforts have become visible to everyone in their country, region and world,” Irani said. “This has brought dignity and pride to our beloved Iran.”
