The Harvard University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors and the National Division of Academic Institutions opened a new tab filed Friday in Boston Federal Court, reported that the administration is attempting to illegally undermine academic and speech freedom on school campuses.
The lawsuit was filed along with a motion for a temporary restraining order.
He also said the federal review of university funding was “arbitrary or whim.”
A Harvard University spokesperson confirmed to the media that the university received a letter from the Federal Task Force earlier this month from the Federal Task Force outlining policy requests related to federal funding.
Harvard Crimson and other outlets reported that among the requests outlined in the letter by the federal task force is the elimination of Harvard’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs and the ban on masks in campus protests.
