Israeli officials say the IDF will receive a massive arms transport from the United States in the coming weeks, including more than 3,000 munitions for the Israeli Air Force.
The delivery comes in addition to more than 10,000 aviation ammunition expected to replenish Israeli stockpile after 18 months of war crimes in Gaza.
The cargo complements previous contracts for heavy ammunition purchased from the US last year by Israel. The Biden administration initially had a freeze on transfers, but US President Donald Trump has overturned the freeze in recent weeks.
In February, the US government confirmed approval for a major arms deal with Israel of $7.41 billion, including guided ammunition, bombs and related equipment.
The approval followed a January notice from the Biden administration regarding the $8 billion weapons package just before Trump re-entered the country. Under the agreement, Israel has used US military aid funds to purchase 3,000 worth of Hellfire missiles, worth about $660 million and 2,166 AGM-114 Hellfire bombs.
Gaza’s health ministry says at least 38 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s strikes on the besieged territory.
In a statement Monday, the ministry said 118 people were injured in the Israeli attack.
The statement said many casualties were trapped under the tiled rub and scattered across the road as ambulances and civil defense crews were unable to reach them.
The latest casualties have resulted in a number of 1,613 killers since Israel breached the January ceasefire on March 18th. More than 4,200 people were injured in the new attack.
Israel launched its genocide campaign in Gaza on October 7, 2023 after Hamas conducted Operation Al-Axa Flood in retaliation for the intensified atrocities of the regime against the Palestinians.
In January 2025, Israel was forced to agree to a ceasefire agreement with Hamas given the regime’s failure to achieve its objectives, such as “exclusion” of the Palestinian resistance and the release of prisoners of war.
