In response to illegal and international inappropriate moves by the Argentine Prosecutor’s Office in leveling out allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was summoned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Charge da Affairs has been delivered an official memo of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iran, in response to the Argentine prosecution office in leveling out allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was summoned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Issa Cameli.
During the meeting, Kameli conveyed the condemnation of the Islamic Republic’s categorized refusal and unfounded accusations by Argentine judicial and official authorities. He emphasized that Amia’s prosecutor’s decision to level out the charges against Iran’s Islamic Republic officials constitutes yet another deviation in long-term judicial proceedings related to a questionable case dating back to 1994, and to maintain the many unanswered questions and ambiguity surrounding the existence of beings surrounding the Zionist regime, transforming the case into a political tool to advance the regime’s anti-Iranian agenda.
Camell emphasized that this prosecutor’s action violates the fundamental principles and norms of international law, particularly those related to sovereign equality and political independence of the state. He described the measure as an unfortunate precedent in international relations, arguing that such actions not only escalate diplomatic tensions between the two countries, but also constituted international torts, thereby entailing the international liability of the Argentine government.
Camelli called on the competent Argentine government authorities to correct this erroneous course, warning of the legal and political consequences arising from the actions of prosecutors. He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves its inherent rights under international law to take all necessary and proportional measures to protect its rights and interests.
