Esmaeli Bagaei, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has strongly condemned the continued US airstrikes in various parts of Yemen, which led to marching and injury to Yemeni civilians, causing significant destruction of homes and infrastructure.
The spokesman described US airstrikes as illegal and a blatant violation of the fundamental principles and norms of international law, stressing that such actions would only further infiltrate the Zionist regime in continuing genocide in the occupied Palestine and the instability of worsening across the region.
Baguei reaffirms the solidarity of the Islamic Republic in Iran, and along with the resilient people of Yemen, he fully supports the Palestinians, who were oppressed in the face of occupation and genocide committed by the Zionist regime, based on a sense of human duty.
He also characterized the US military invasions of Yemen and the violation of its territorial integrity as a clear threat to international peace and security, urging the UN Security Council to break silence, urging decisive and coordinated action by the Islamic government, and the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) to condemn the attack on Yemen.
