In an interview with local Iranian media on Thursday, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh recalled two retaliatory operations by the IRGC and Iranian troops against Israel’s Zionist regime last year, recalling whether “before the true promise I, the Zionist regime pleaded Iran through Turkey and Egypt did not respond gently.
“In one of their messages, they even asked us not to carry out our true promises and said they would begin negotiations on the situation in Gaza,” said the senior IRGC general.
“The United States, Britain and France, who were standing by Israel, were unable to prevent Iran from carrying out the attack by sending letters and messages,” he continued his note.
General Hajizadeh emphasized that the true promised mission stated “Iran does not hesitate to defend its interests and will respond decisively to aggression.”
The true promise I run came less than two weeks after the terrorist Israeli strike was killed in April 2024 at an Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syrian capital.
In October 2024, Iran launched its second anti-Israel operation in retaliation for the assassination of a Resistance Commander known as True Promise II.
