Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem appeared via Almana on Friday night to talk about defence strategies and latest developments.
Sheikh Qassem said at the beginning of his speech that resistance was a response to Israeli occupation.
“Israel is an expansionist and is trying to seize Lebanese people just like Palestinian land,” he said, adding that “resistance has stopped Israeli-US invasions on the southern border of Lebanon.”
“Israel failed to meet its target in Lebanon thanks to Hezbollah’s resistance.
“Israel has carried out over 2,700 offensive acts since Lebanon’s ceasefire agreement,” the Hezbollah chief said, saying resistance has completely faded into the trade.
“Israel wants to occupy most of Lebanon and build a village there,” the Hezbollah leader further warned.
“Lebanon’s resistance has options and is not afraid of anything,” he said.
“Israel is calling for disarmament of resistance to weaken Lebanon,” Qassem warned. “Disarming Hezbollah is inflammatory and will serve the interests of the Israeli regime.”
“We will not allow anyone to disarm Hezbollah,” Qassem emphasized. “We stand up to those who attack resistance and those who work to disarm it as they faced with ‘Israel’. ”
“This weapon was a pillar of resistance, liberating the country and defending its sovereignty,” he emphasized.
Sheikh Qassem continued to say, “Israel must withdraw from all Lebanese territory and stop its invasion.”
“Israel withdrawal and halting aggression is a key step to engaging in debate over defense strategies,” the Hezbollah leader said.
“Hezbollah has not surrendered and is not afraid of threats from the US and Israeli regimes,” he said, adding that “in Lebanon, this cannot happen with the continued protection of the US.”
“Stay firmly in the face of the United States, we will be with you,” he insisted.
Qassem hoped that US and Iran’s speeches would be fruitful.
Regarding Yemen, he said, “We pay tribute to Yemen, who is standing on behalf of the whole world in the face of the United States and ‘Israel’, and Ansarlah’s leaders have Said Abdul Malik Al-Houti.”
