Iran and Polish diplomats reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in various fields based on mutual respect and shared interests.
On Thursday, Tehran hosted the latest political talks between the two countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mahmoud Haidari, Deputy Minister and Director of Mediterranean and Eastern European Affairs, led a discussion with Piotr Kozwowski, director of Africa and the Middle East of the Polish Foreign Ministry.
Officials discussed key areas of the partnership between Iran and Poland, including political, economic, cultural, academic and consulates. They also exchanged opinions on recent regional and global developments.
Emphasizing diplomatic relations dating back to five centuries, both sides expressed a common resolve to further improve relations based on common goals and mutual respect.
