“The debate between experts in Iran and the US delegation has progressed and we have reached details about mutual expectations and demands,” Iran’s national television and radio correspondent said in the report.
“The technical consultations between Iran and the US delegation have progressed and reached a detailed stage,” the IRIB reporter added.
“The delegations will return to their respective capitals for more consultations,” Iranian media reported that an IRIB reporter said at the end of the discussion.
Esmaeli Baghihai, a spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs who accompanied the Iranian delegation in negotiations between Tehran and Washington today, said they were ongoing in a serious atmosphere.
“The delegation was exchanging opinions on lifting sanctions and confidence-building measures in Iran’s nuclear program,” the spokesman said.
Additionally, a television reporter at the press conference said he was on the sidelines of the talks, “It was not clear whether the outcome was positive or negative, as negotiations between Iran and the US took longer than before.”
The third round of today’s lecture included an expert-level meeting.
Oman’s foreign minister said the next meeting with Iran will be held next Saturday.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut, addressing reporters on Saturday after consultations with the US delegation in the Oman capital, saying today’s third round was held in a more serious atmosphere.
