Speaking on a weekly presser on Monday morning, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeli Baghhai answered questions raised by journalists about nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States.
He said the fourth round negotiations between Tehran and Washington will be held under the chairmanship of Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Aragut and Special US President Envoy Steve Witkov.
“According to the understanding reached in Muscat, the next round of speech is currently scheduled for Saturday and is working with the Omani side. The decisions regarding time and location will be made by three political parties.”
“For more details, it’s not uncommon to have more time to start a technical discussion.”
“The European position on Iran, as well as the process of negotiations (Iran’s) and dialogue with neighboring countries, demonstrates the status and importance associated with neighboring countries and other JCPOA member states. This is clear and demonstrates the goodwill of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
“The negotiation details must be entered within a general framework agreed by the relevant parties. Details will not be agreed unless a general framework is taken into consideration. We will observe the red line closely.
