Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Akbar Ahmadian made a speech in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Wednesday at the BRICS Security Officers’ Meeting.
“In the Palestine issue, we witness the re-emergence of dangerous discourses called “peace by power” and “forced diplomacy,” said Ahmadian at the start of his meeting.
“True peace has its roots in recognition of justice and just right,” he added.
The SNSC chair further stated, “The threats posed by BRICS and some countries to its members show deep concern about the great potential of BRICS to create a strong economic, political and cultural bloc.”
“Iran will not give up non-transferable rights, including the right to peaceful use of atomic energy. Nuclear weapons have no place in Iran’s defense doctrine, as evidenced by reports from international observers,” the Ahmadian emphasized.
“The Islamic Republic proposes to announce BRICS digital currency and dedicated secure bank messengers for symbols of intragroup trade and economic independence,” he said elsewhere.
“The Islamic Republic proposes establishing a Supply Chain Security Committee with a focus on transport insurance, the creation of anti-Sansion corridors, and the launch of a support fund to combat foreign sanctions,” Iranian security officials said.
