Major General Hossein Salami attended a local ceremony in Tehran on Sunday and said the IRGC was able to stand up to the world’s large array of powers without being defeated or scared by his enemies.
The IRGC has been won and it is not intending to retreat even a single step in conflict with the enemy, the commander said.
The general emphasized that surrender had no place in the IRGC teachings, as all steps were directed positively.
He pointed out that the IRGC is obliged to employ all abilities, facing modern equipment but in fact flimsy enemies.
Continuingly updating the IRGC’s training program and highlighting the need to apply modern science, General Salami said the IRGC is hopeful and not idle at all.
In comments in April, Major General Mohammad Hossein Ba Ba Eli, chief of staff of the Iranian army, praised the IRGC as a powerful and reliable shield against the enemy.
The IRGC prevented the enemy from making miscalculations and warned them of the devastating consequences of the attack, the commander said.
