“The Air Force is not just the combat division of national defense strategy. It is the forefront of rapid response to any threat,” the press said while speaking on the training course described by the 25th Elite of university students.
“To control and control the sky means to control the battlefield and maintain territorial integrity,” he said, adding that in today’s military equation, countries that cannot defend airspace remain vulnerable on land and on seas.
Emphasizing recent decades of advances in Iran’s Army Air Force, Vahedi said, “Today, the Air Force can detect threats from the farthest places and respond decisively in the shortest possible time.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Brigadi addressed the importance of self-sufficiency in defense, saying sanctions and restrictions proved that reliance on foreign sources was a flawed strategy.
“Today, the (Iranian) Air Force demonstrated to the world that its citizens can overcome any obstacles through attack drones, aircraft maintenance and upgrades, Indigenous missile production and radar systems development,” he added.
Iran relies on domestic efforts and know-how and is making great strides in increasing the self-sufficiency of its forces.
Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei, who listens to the directions of the leaders of the Islamic Revolution, has repeatedly emphasized that the country is entirely defensive and therefore does not hesitate to strengthen its military capabilities that are not affected by negotiations.
