Turkish leaders told Trump that Ankara will continue to take steps to advance cooperation with Washington.
Gaza’s humanitarian crisis has reached “significant levels,” Erdogan told Trump, saying he is ready to help Ankara provide assistance and build lasting peace.
Erdogan expressed support for Trump’s approach to end the war, saying that Türkiye is grateful for the negotiation process with Iran and the efforts made to resolve the Russian-Flaine war.
Erdogan further said Ankara is working to maintain and ensure the integrity of Syrian territory and to ensure its stability, highlighting the importance of US efforts to ease Syrian sanctions to contribute to this process.
He emphasized that stable Syria supports both regional and global peace.
