“In Muscat, Oman, there is another round of indirect Iranian-united provinces underway,” said Bagaei, who accompanied the Iranian negotiation team in Oman on Sunday.
“Iran is firmly determined to pursue an irreplaceable, legal right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy under the NPT, but is preparing to continue its diplomatic engagement in ensuring it has already demonstrated the “peaceful nature” of its nuclear program,” he added.
“We are equally determined to work to end the illegal and inhumane sanctions that have been imposed on our people for a long time,” continued Baghhai in his post.
The fourth round of indirect talks between Iran and the US took place in Muscat on Sunday after lifting Iran’s nuclear issue and repressive sanctions against Tehran. The talks were again mediated by Oman Foreign Minister Bador bin Hamad al-Busaidi.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut and US envoy to the Middle East Stephen Witkov led a delegation of two people, as in the previous round.
