In a meeting with members of Iranian parliament’s independence fact on Tuesday, he pointed to full cooperation and interaction between the government and parliament, emphasizing that establishing interactions between the three branches of the government is a prerequisite for achieving progress and development.
Turning to indirect Iran consultations, Pezeshkian noted that these negotiations will be held in full coordination and in cooperation with the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei.
“We have not, and never link the lives and livelihoods of our people to negotiations. What’s more, we never retreat from principles and at the same time do not want tension,” he emphasized.
Iran and the US held four rounds of indirect talks on the removal of Tehran’s nuclear issue and the Omani government-mediated sanctions.
