Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) said the strike, carried out by “hostile drones,” targeted motorcycles near the care centre in Hula. The Ministry of Health later confirmed that one person was killed in the attack.
A Lebanese security source who requested anonymity told Xinhua that the victim was Mussa Abd, a member of Hezbollah from Hura in Majayon district.
Also on Tuesday, the Israeli government announced it had carried out two additional airstrikes on Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon. One target is in Houla, the second is near Beaufort Ridge, and the IDF said it had attacked “Hezbollah’s military site used for both shooting and defensive operations.”
Despite reaching the ceasefire agreement on November 27, 2024, the cross-border strike aims to halt more than a year of hostilities related to the war in Gaza.
