President Masuud Pezeshkian has criticized President Donald Trump for his recent remarks on Iran, saying that over the past 47 years, efforts to undermine the Islamic Republic have failed to reduce the resolve and resilience of the Iranian state.
On his first visit to Karmanshire on Wednesday, the president highlighted the decades of pressure the Iranian state faces.
He said that for 47 years the enemy tried to undermine the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people, but they have neither succeeded nor succeeded because the threat facing Iran cannot undermine the country’s resolve.
In meetings with local elites, intellectuals and cultural figures, Pezeshkian emphasized that the Iranian state will rise to develop the country, regardless of the intentions of other parties regarding peace.
He criticized the US president’s comments, saying Trump made statements that revealed his deep misunderstandings about Iranian people because he could not recognize the honor, courage, patience and sacrifice of Iranians.
Does President Pezeshkian firmly reject the claim that Iran is the cause of anxiety and question how it can be labelled as a threat when it caused the deaths of 60,000 women and children in Gaza through bombing, and robbed a meaningless population like water and medicine?
He challenged propaganda against Iran, noting that the country’s problems have its roots in policies that imposed sanctions and economic terrorism and defended war and destruction.
Regarding the assassination of Iranian scientists, Pezeshkian said the Iranians did not commit these attacks. The person currently criticizing Iran is the same individual who targeted Iranian scholars within his borders.
Regarding international conspiracy against Iran, he said the enemy’s main purpose was to sow divisions within Iran.
He added that the US and its allies pooled their resources to undermine the country, but they cannot grasp that Iran is the land of brave people and cannot be defeated.
