Sana International Airport resumed on Saturday for foreign flights, Alsaira reported.
According to the report, the first flight to the airport was from Jordan, operated by Yemeni Airlines, with 136 passengers in flight.
During the terrorist attack, Israeli forces destroyed the airport’s waiting hall, runway and six aircraft, and suspended it for nine days at the airport, the report said, adding that Sanaa Airport is the only active airport in the Yemeni government-controlled area.
After reaching a ceasefire agreement between Yemen and the Saudi-led coalition, the airport is holding two to four round-trip flights to Jordan or Egypt every day.
In addition to taking part in a million powerful protest rallies in various cities in the country on Friday, people from Yemen’s capital Sanaa also held a massive demonstration at Al Sabin Square in Sanaa on Saturday. The march is called “Surprise against Genocide and Starr.”
