Speaking at the Arab League Summit in Baghdad on Saturday, the prime minister said the Israeli regime had massacred Palestinians in Gaza and violated “the principles of humanity.”
“The enduring of a very serious humanitarian crisis in Gaza has resulted in more than 50,000 deaths, 100,000 wounded and 2 million displaced people,” said Sanchez, who was sharply criticised the Israeli attack.
World leaders “will increase our pressure on Israel and halt the Gaza genocide, particularly through the channels given to us by international law,” he said.
The Spanish Prime Minister said his country will “submit a proposal to the UN General Assembly to ask the International Court of Justice to control Israel’s compliance with international obligations regarding humanitarian access to Gaza under the full aid lockdown since March 2.”
