The press conference with the participation of Iran’s Minister of Science, Research and Technology Hossain Simai Saraf is the main program of today’s gathering.
More than 20 Islamic Cooperative Organizations (OICs) will attend the Tehran gathering.
The event is designed to expand science and technology cooperation, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), which underlies Iran’s unique role in leading scientific advances in the Islamic world.
During the Tehran OIC event, the first multilateral documents on artificial intelligence will be reviewed and approved.
Organizing the second summit of higher education ministers from Islamic countries within the OIC-15 dialogue platform by the Ministry of Science and Research and Technology represents a strategic opportunity to shape the future outlook for AI and strengthen Iran’s scientific and technological diplomacy with the Islamic world.
The Tehran event also shares a platform for exchanging experiences, transferring technology, and expanding academic collaboration.
In doing so, the event seeks to harness the possibilities of major Islamic countries in science and technology to address the challenges facing the scientific, technical and higher education that the Islamic world faces.
