“We have at least 100 martists from one night. The full family has been wiped out of civil registration records due to the Israeli bombing,” Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Khalil Al Declan told Reuters by phone.
There were no immediate comments from the Israeli military. Israeli forces have killed hundreds and hundreds since Thursday in preparation for a new ground attack to achieve “operational control” in parts of Gaza.
Seeing Qatar and Egyptian intermediaries lifting up a choking siege in Gaza, the attacks took place as Hamas continues to seek a temporary ceasefire that frees many prisoners of war.
The Israeli Army resumed its attacks in the Gaza Strip on March 18, killing 2,876 people and wounding nearly 8,000 others, shattering the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in January.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former war minister Joab Gallant.
Israel is also facing a genocide case in the International Court of Justice due to its war with the enclave.
