Machine Sazi Arak, Iran’s largest industrial machinery and equipment manufacturer, was delivering a 360-ton nuclear reactor to the solif energy petrochemical complex in the port of Deyer Bay in the Persian Gulf in Iran’s Bucher province.
The report added that the ultra-severe reactor will be used for methanol production, and equipment and other mechanical items fed to Siraf petrochemists will increase Iran’s methanol production capacity by 10,000 tons.
The successful production of large-scale nuclear reactors and associated installations mean that Iran has joined clubs from five countries around the world in the technology to manufacture methanol production machines and equipment.
The development comes amid efforts by which Iran relies on domestic suppliers and manufacturers to rely on equipment needed for the petrochemical sector.
This effort has intensified in recent years amidst sanctions imposed by the US, which limits Iran’s international investment and access to technology.
Iran’s oil ministry authorities say that domestic companies have been awarded a major contract to supply equipment sensitive to Iran’s oil and gas industry.
They say that Iranian-made equipment will be successfully installed in oil and gas fields, refineries and petrochemical plants across the country, helping to restore or maintain production without fear of the impact of sanctions on plants.
Founded in central Iran in 1967, Machine Sazi Arak is a leading industrial machinery and equipment manufacturer that has been supplying a variety of products to Iranian industrial factories over the past decades.
