More than 70 people have been killed in the four-day conflict. This was attacked last month after New Delhi accused of supporting Islamabad by Indian-controlled Kashmir gunmen.
Military conflicts, including fierce Tat-Tat drones, missiles, air combat and artillery exchanges, suddenly come to an end after President Donald Trump announced the surprising ceasefire still held.
“By the end of May, the troops will be deprived of their position,” he said on the condition of anonymity as they are not permitted to speak to the media.
Officials said the two countries agreed to a gradual withdrawal of additional troops and weapons deployed on the already militarized de facto border, known primarily as Kashmir’s de facto border.
It comes after last week that the Indian Army agreed to “take immediate measures to ensure the reduction of troops from borders and advanced areas.”
