Tehran – In a meeting with the Iranian ambassador of Japan, Iranian Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Seiyed Reza Salehi Amiri highlighted the history of cultural cooperation and mutual competence in the tourism, sports and handikarafus sector in the tourism, sports and handikarafus sector.
The Iranian state said it views Japan as a noble, dedicated, peace-loving, rational country, he said the general mentality of the Iranian people towards Japan is positive and full of mutual respect.
He emphasized the need to use Japan’s experience in the fields of cultural management, education systems, technology and bureaucracy, saying, “Japan has distinguished experience in a field that combines tradition and modernity, an inspirational model for the inspiration for the process of localizing progress in Asian countries, including Iran.”
He continued that Iran and Japan rank 10th and 11th in the world, respectively, in terms of the number of historic monuments and sites listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
This symbolic alignment, he said, is a sign of the historical depth of the civilizations of both countries, laying the foundation for effective cultural exchanges between East and West Asia.
He created a joint exhibition network in the capitals of both countries, adding: A fair for Iranian civilizations in Tokyo, and the expression of Japanese art in Tehran is an introduction that redefines the mutual image of nations with each other in light of cultural originality.
Referring to various tourism genres in Iran, the Minister said that Iran has all 20 different types of tourism in the world, from health, religion and historical tourism to nature and creative tourism. This great potential could be a attraction point for Japanese tourists, he added, in the case of wise introductions.
Salehi-Amiri pointed out that, unfortunately, the image of Iran depicted in some Western media is at odds with existing reality. Japan is an independent and thoughtful country that relies on political rationality, and it cannot be captured for certain by these biased portrayals. Iran’s security is higher than in other regional countries, he added.
He proposed that Iran could be visited to visit Japanese culture, tourism and media personality in order to improve the image of Iran in Japanese public opinion.
“We are ready to host a high-class delegation of directors of Japan’s travel agents.
The minister said Iranian and Japanese handicrafts are delicate and soulful heritage of ancient countries. Japan could become a target market for Iranian traditional arts, and vice versa, he added.
“We are also prepared to build a cultural bridge between Iranian homes and eastern art by gaining a deeper understanding of Japanese art.”
The Japanese Iranian ambassador said learning language is a prelude to a deeper understanding of the culture, arts, politics and trade of the nation.
Tamaki said, “Understanding Iran is not just a diplomatic one, but a cultural mission for us. I have always sought a deeper understanding of your cultural roots, education system and art during my trip to Iran.”
2029 marks the 100th anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic relations between Iran and Japan, he said.
This historic opportunity, he added, is a unique opportunity to design cultural, civilized and strategic movements in bilateral relations.
