Farzane Sadeg made a speech on Sunday at a meeting with two delegations of Iran and Iraq’s trade transport held before the Iraqi Minister of Transport, promoting the passage of these three countries in calling for the establishment of a trilateral meeting between Iran, Iraq and Kazakhstan.
The Iranian Road Minister emphasized the need to create a change in transport interaction and coordination for Albainian ritual pilgrim travel in the coming months as one of her travels’ main goals, adding that the process of promoting transport cooperation between the two countries in various sectors is on an upward trajectory.
Sadegu emphasizes that increasing the capacity of the transport infrastructure between the two countries is essential to developing full economic ties and trade exchanges.
Regarding the benefits of expanding cooperation between the two countries, she said, “By developing Iran’s transportation infrastructure, Iraq will access the Caucasus, Central Asia and Russia on both rail and roads and change trade with those regions.”
She went on to say that Iran can also have land, rail and road connections with the Persian Gulf coastal provinces through Iraq.
The Minister of Transport pointed out Kazakhstan’s willingness to transport cargoes to Iraq via Iran, and emphasized the need to establish a trilateral conference to promote transport between the three countries.
