On the first day of Eid al-Ada, one of Islam’s most sacred festivals, Israeli forces conducted a series of airstrikes and artillery attacks across the Gaza Strip on Friday morning, killing 20 people and wounding several others, according to eyewitnesses and medical sources, the Anadoru News Agency reported.
Despite the occasion of celebration, many Palestinians held Eid prayers in the tiled bleeds of the destroyed houses as the Israeli war of massacre continues to devastate the besieged enclaves.
In southern Gaza, Israeli fighters have made multiple attacks at Khan Eunice, while heavy artillery targeting residential areas in the central, north and eastern parts of the city said.
As the smoke and air attacks intensified, smoke rose across southern Khan Eunice.
Medical sources say the child was shot dead by Israeli forces near the Al Saraya detention area in Khan Yunis. Another civilian was injured in a previous Israeli strike in the city.
Four Palestinians were killed and several others were injured when Israeli drones attacked a mobile phone charging station set up between tents protecting displaced people west of Khan Yunis.
