Ali Akbar Velayati made a speech at a meeting with the visiting foreign minister of Tehran’s Kazakhstan Murat Nurruu on Saturday, highlighting the historic ties between the two countries and the condemnation of criminal offences of abuse against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
During the meeting, both sides highlighted joint efforts to strengthen and expand comprehensive relations between Iran and Kazakhstan.
Furthermore, both sides emphasized the need to leverage existing capabilities to develop bilateral cooperation in political, economic and cultural fields.
Referring to the deep historical and civilized commonalities between the two countries, Verayati emphasized the need to stand up to unilateral Western and US principles and strengthen regional cooperation to ensure security and stability.
He also highlighted the importance of regional integration in Central Asia and strengthened the common institution to address security and economic challenges.
Referring to the war on the massacres of the Zionist regime of crimes in Gaza, the advisors to international affairs leaders emphasized the need for the international community to stand up to these crimes.
He called for solidarity among Islamic and regional countries to support the rights of Palestinians and to stand up to the enemy’s split policy.
The Kazakh Foreign Minister welcomed Iran’s proposal and emphasized Astana’s determination to deepen relations with Tehran within the framework of common interests and regional peace.
Both sides agreed to continue bilateral dialogue and coordination at regional and international levels to achieve a common goal.
