Various resistance media reported the development on Saturday, identifying the official as Abu al Sheikh, the executive director and co-founder of the Palestinian Mujahideen movement, aka Abu al Sheikh.
The movement itself confirmed the development in a statement, noting that the victims were leading the Mujahideen Brigade, the group’s military division. He also pointed out another victim of bloodletting, Abu Farasteen, aka Abu Farasteen, that he was one of Assad’s brothers and another high-ranking member of the group.
“Great survivors, thinkers, leaders.”
The movement described Abu Sharia as “a great leader and intellectual” and denounced the Israeli massacre, which survived at least five other assassination attempts before his ultimate martialism, and that he had “co-disordered.”
Abu Sharia said that he was “one of the Palestine jihad (struggle) and resistance and one of the cornerstones of the country’s Islamic projects.”
“It caused a huge loss to Israel.”
The movement says that since the group’s foundation in 2001, victims have commanded or fought many “heroic” resistance operations targeting Gaza, the occupied West Bank, and various regions across the occupied Palestinian territory.
Most importantly, the statement reads that Abu Sharia contributed to the Al Aksa Storm of the historic operation on October 7, 2023.
The operation led resistance fighters to venture deep into the occupying territory, surrounded strategic Israeli military bases and captured hundreds of Zionists.
The overall contribution “has brought great losses to the corrupt enemy,” the movement said in a statement.
He also pointed out how the victims would not abandon the anti-Israel struggle despite losing as many as 155 members of his extended family in the regime’s constant attacks on Gaza.
Warning for the enemy
Meanwhile, the group has vowed not to allow regime atrocities, including the assassination of Abu Sharia.
It defined its commitment to principles once defended by the victims as “trust in our contract and the heads of brave mujahideen (fighter jets).”
Hamas, the main resistance movement in Gaza, is tolerated by the Palestinian people, the international Muslim nation, and all the free people of the world over tragedy.
It welcomed the contributions of former resistance leaders to struggle and immobilisation.
Hamas, meanwhile, argued that such wild atrocities would not only fail to break down the will of resistance, but would also further settle the Palestinian people and continue the fight for the liberation of their land and holiness.
