Araguchi held a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry of Ricardo Guarria, who was in Tehran on Sunday for the fifth round of political talks between Iran and the Italian Republic.
At the meeting, the Foreign Minister pointed to the longstanding friendly relations between Iran and Italy in various political, economic and cultural fields, and emphasized the development of relations with various European countries, particularly Italy, and expanding Tehran’s preparations based on mutual respect and shared interests.
Aragucci also has a key and effective way to hold regular and continuous political councils between Iran and Italy, and to better understand the positions and perspectives of both countries in order to expand bilateral relations and increase regional and global stability and security.
The Italian diplomat expressed his joy during his visit to Iran and a meeting with the Iranian foreign minister, conveying the greeting and best wishes of Italian vice-prime minister Antonio Tajani to his Iranian counterparts.
Ricardo Guarilia also satisfied with the fruitful and constructive meeting and negotiations with Iran’s Minister of Political Affairs and Foreign Affairs, and expressed the negotiations for Majid Tak Lavanchi, highlighting his country’s interest in building and deepening Tehran-Roman relations based on mutual interest.
