Iran’s written replies to the United States are reportedly given through diplomatic channels.
Iran’s response is said to include a proposal for the ultimate nuclear agreement that involves maintaining uranium enrichment within Iran, and a series of Iranian measures to alleviate US concerns in exchange for effective removal of sanctions.
Iran also appears to be preparing for the next round of indirect nuclear negotiations with us, unless Tehran’s red line intersects.
Last week, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci said the US proposal had been submitted by the Foreign Minister of Oman Bador bin Hamad al-Basaydi.
“My dear brother, Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, a well-known Foreign Minister of Oman, made a brief visit to Tehran today to present elements of the US proposal.
Iran and the US have been holding five rounds of talks since April 12, mediated by Oman, with the aim of reaching a contract on Iran’s nuclear program and the elimination of sanctions in Tehran.
