The Ministry of Health said on Monday that at least 54,927 Palestinians had been killed in the Israeli massacre war in the Gaza Strip.
According to a statement from the ministry, 47 bodies have been brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, causing 388 people to be injured, bringing the total number of injuries in the Israeli onslaught to 126,615.
“Many casualties are still trapped on tile rubs and roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” Anadolu News Agency added.
Israeli forces resumed their attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18, killing 4,649 people and wounding 14,574 people, and shattering the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in January.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former war minister Joab Gallant.
Israel is also facing a genocide case in the International Court of Justice due to its war with the enclave.
