In a statement Friday after the Israeli regime’s airstrike, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) confirmed that attacks on the Shahid Ahmadi Roshan Enrichment Complex (Natanz facility) have caused damage to parts of the various complexes.
“An investigation is underway to determine the level of damage,” the statement added.
“So far, there have been no reports of victims among those who attended the site,” it said.
“The investigations conducted show that no radiation or chemicals were leaked outside the site,” it further said.
The AEOI further explained Israeli aggression, in contrast to international law, including the governor’s resolutions, the General Assembly and the UN Security Council.
He also denounced the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency for refusing to condemn Israel’s threat to Iran’s atomic sites over the past two years. “This is while agents actually distance themselves from the path of professionalism and equity by preparing biased political reports based on false information they received from the Zionist regime.”
Iran’s atomic energy organization has accused the institution of the IAEA of silence as a form of cooperation with the Zionist regime, and has become a tool at the hands of the Zionist regime, which has lost its credibility as an effective international organization.
“This attack is a setback for the IAEA due to the unfair shortcomings of the Director-General and the inability to play a professional and impartial role, including ensuring the security of peaceful nuclear facilities under the supervision of the agency.”
“Undoubtedly, political pressure, which was accompanied by military pressure this time, will not undermine the decisions of scientists, experts and employees of this great Iranian (nuclear) industry,” AEOI said. “These great people will be greatly in the frustration of their enemies and will pursue the country’s lofty goals to further the nuclear industry with double motivation.
