Born in Iran in 1982, Madanizadeh is one of the most prominent figures in economics in recent years.
He holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, a Masters in Computational Mathematics from Stanford University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Madanizadeh is the president of Sharif University of Technology. His specialization includes topics that play a central role in both macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policy, international trade, industrial structure, and his education and research.
His management team is also extensive and diverse. The most important of them are:
– Head of Modeling Group (CBI) of the Iranian Central Bank’s Currency and Banking Institute
– Economic Advisor for Iran’s Planning and Budget Organization (PBO)
– Member of the Executive Committee of Information Technology Organizations in Iran
– Member of CBI Liquidity Committee
– Member of the Currency and Credit Council Committee
– Director of major projects to reform budget structure and CBI Act
