As the full-scale war between Iran and Israel entered the eighth day, speculation escalated about the direct entry of the US battlefield. A scenario where not only changes the military equations of the region, it also faces unprecedented threats, facing America’s vast and important interests in Western Asia.
The United States has dozens of active bases in Iraq, Syria, Jordan, the Persian Gulf Coast Province, and the Arabian Peninsula, already targeting repeated warnings from resistance.
Drone attacks on a US base in Jordan near the Syria-Iraq border have once again shown that several American soldiers have been killed and wounded, and even areas considered safer are within reach.
In total, the US has a troop of about 40,000 to 45,000 people stationed in the area. All of these foundations are under immediate threat, and by directing the US entry into war, they become legal targets of asymmetric responses from Iran and its allies.
