Sharif University of Technology has announced that the Israeli regime had assassinated another prominent nuclear scientist, Isar Tabatabaei Ghomsheh.
In a statement released on Saturday, the university said scientist assassination and targeting scholars is not new. However, no matter how many times it occurs, it remains unacceptable.
The statement states: “This crime, which is committed in the scientific and technical field rather than the military field, has a paranoid and unreachable goal.
The university’s nuclear scientist was assassinated along with his wife at his residence Friday evening.
Tabatabaei Ghomsheh, PhD, has dedicated his years of life to Iran’s nuclear industry.
On June 13, the Israeli regime also assassinated Mohammad Mediter Heransi, a nuclear scientist and president of Islamic Azad University, and Feredun Abbasi, a nuclear scientist and former scientist, on separate strikes in Telan, the capital of Iran.
Israel continues to attack civilian regions and infrastructure in various parts of Iran.
