Iran’s Deputy Minister Majid Takt Ravanchi condemned the US strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities as a serious act of attack and crime, emphasizing that the country’s peaceful nuclear program will not be stopped.
In an interview with German ARD broadcasting station on Sunday, Takht Ravanchi rebutted the idea of halting Iran’s nuclear activity, including uranium enrichment.
He rejected a request for a complete suspension of Iran’s nuclear program, saying, “We are sincere members of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).”
Based on this, Iran is pursuing uranium enrichment for the peaceful use of nuclear energy, he told the Belicht aus Berlin program.
“As long as we remain within the framework of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, no one can tell us what we should and should not,” emphasized Takuto Lavanci.
The Deputy Minister did not comment on the damage to nuclear facilities as a result of the US military strike.
The Zionist regime has fought a war of attacks against Iran on June 13, shocking Iran’s military and nuclear sites, but the US launched military attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran early Sunday: Natanz, Fordau and Isfahan.
Iranian officials said Tehran reserves the right to resort to its own options for response to the US attack.
