In a telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday evening, Pezeshkian pointed to the US involvement in recent events, highlighting the US and the Zionist regime sowed discord, division and hostility between Islamic countries.
President Pezeshkian praised Saudi Arabia’s clear stance and support amid the Israeli regime’s military aggression against Iran.
The president pointed to US intervention in the war between Iran and Israel, noting that the Islamic Republic of Iran was forced to attack US bases in Qatar to respond to US direct involvement in attacking Iran’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Iran will not stand up to either neighboring Islamic or Islamic states, he said, adding that his country is ready to find a solution with the United States within the framework of international law and to find regulations on Iran’s dehunte (atomic) rights.
The Saudi Arabia’s crown prince added that Saudi Arabia was the country that condemned Israeli invasion of Iran from the start, and that his country has made every effort to put pressure on Israel to end the conflict.
Mohammad bin Salman also condemned the US attack on Iran, and said that Saudi Arabia emphasized that Israel, the US and other countries would not allow airspace to be used to attack Iran.
The Saudi Arabian Crown Prince also hoped that the conflict would not resume and that Iran and the United States would resume consultations to resolve concerns.
