Abbas Arachi made comments on Thursday evening when he visited a television glass-like building in the National Iran that was attacked in the recent Israeli regime attack in Tehran.
Araguchi said he reimposed the 2018 maximum pressure campaign as incumbent US President Donald Trump took on the White House in January this year to waive Iran that rights.
The minister said Trump’s admisnitration has stepped up the anti-Iran campaign since the start of his second term, which uses different threats to impose new sanctions.
“In recent negotiations, they tried to lure us to give up our country’s rights. When some specific events happened, they unleashed the Crime Zionist regime to impose war and carry out an attack,” the minister said.
Araguchi also welcomed the international resistance to Israeli and the US attacks, saying, as the leader said earlier that day, Iran would not surrender and would firmly defend its position.
“Our discussion was very clear. We announced that we were engaged in negotiations, but the other side launched an attack.
The minister further pointed out that Iran’s arguments were so wise that the US and Israeli attacks on Iran elicited accusations that were condemned by the world.
