Pezeschkian said at a cabinet meeting on Sunday afternoon: “I think it is my duty to express my deep gratitude to my leader for his wise leader for the 12 days of war and the resistance of this nation.
The President also thanked religious authorities, renowned scholars, leading academic figures, writers, intellectuals, artists and media activists for the intellectual support and support of the government and the military.
Pezeshkian added that he should not overlook the role of Iranians overseas in shaping national unity, unity and solidarity, but noted that their deep affection and connection with the nation had been clearly demonstrated. He expressed his gratitude and respect for these fellow people.
The president also reaffirmed that neighbourhood policy and development of regional relations is the core strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He said that with the aim of expanding solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Islamic countries, the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to engage in full cooperation with the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, and that it is fully prepared to begin a new chapter of relations with its neighbors.
Pezeschkian emphasized that Tehran firmly believes that the Persian Gulf is a symbol of peace and cooperation between regional nations and strengthens Iranian relations with neighbours in the region.
